The location is very nice, just a one-minute walk to the train station! the rooms are also very nice. I got a basel pass as part of the room rate. it even gave me free public transportation. How awesome is that?!

Street noise was a bit much. I could hear trams late into the night, and they started up really early!

I had such a charmed stay! the staff was so helpful and friendly. I arrived late, near midnight. i was delighted to find a takeaway breakfast bag prepared for me with fruit, chocolate, and water for my early departure. this really made my morning!

the street noise was noticeable. even with double glazing, i could hear the trams running late into the night, and they started up again very early. it impacted my sleep a bit.
